Terms of Service | PrintGen

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PrintGen ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

PrintGen is an AI-powered platform that generates 3D models from text and image prompts, provides a marketplace for sharing models, and connects users with makers who own 3D printers. The Service includes free and paid subscription tiers.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. User Content & Generated Models

You retain ownership of the text prompts and images you provide. AI-generated 3D models created through the Service are owned by you, subject to the following conditions:

You may use generated models for personal and commercial purposes.
Models published to the marketplace are visible to other users under the license you select.
You must not generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
We may remove content that violates these terms without notice.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Use the Service to generate weapons, regulated items, or content that infringes intellectual property.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits.
Use automated tools to access the Service without our permission.
Impersonate another person or entity.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time — your access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Credit packs are non-refundable once used. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

7. Print Marketplace

PrintGen connects buyers with independent makers. We are not responsible for the quality, accuracy, or safety of 3D-printed items produced by makers. Disputes between buyers and makers will be mediated by PrintGen on a best-effort basis. A 15% platform fee applies to marketplace transactions.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated models may not be suitable for all purposes. You are responsible for verifying the safety and fitness of any 3D-printed object. We are not liable for damages resulting from the use of generated models or printed items.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrintGen's liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your generated models and data may be deleted after a 30-day grace period.
